You may notice a major difference in our vehicle fleet when you next see us - we've swapped our Nissan Navaras for smart new Volvo V50s. We've undertaken this change because the Volvo is more fuel efficient with an average of 72mpg compared to the Navara's 33mpg. And with only 104g/km of CO2 emissions the Volvo is significantly easier on the environment as well as the wallet. In fact, this low rating qualifies the Volvo for tax band B, so we can save on our road tax bill as well. It also comes equipped with its own brand of start-stop technology. This means that when you pull up at the lights, for example, the engine cuts out. It starts again when you put your foot on the clutch - saving fuel and cutting pollution.

The change in our fleet is just one of the ways we've shown how committed we are to efficiency savings - as well as doing our bit for the environment. These savings will help us to ensure that our customers are always in position to receive the best price.
